Question! Where in Clementine did you past your external drives location?
I'm having the same issue you had. My drive (Seagate) doesnt show up when I
click Add New Folder. Yet I can see it in File explorer or any other app.

Hi
I am aware of the folder option etc but no disks show in the explorer
window they just aren't there only the Home directory which as I understand
it is the equivalent of the 'C' drive in windows. I have however opened
the Linux mint file explorer as you suggested and right clicked the disk
When you open Preferences, in the new windows that opens, on the
left-hand side, under the General Header, third option down is Music
Library, click this. On the right you have a window showing the current
paths of the current libraries but on the far right you will have the
the option to "Add
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I had already visited the preferences for
library location but there is no option to specify a second drive or any
other drive for that matter. I have moved to Linux Mint from Zorin where I
used Clementine as my player and was able to specify another drive no
problem
If you haven't made a choice clementine will assume the music folder in
home is your library
You need to set the location of your external drive as your Music Library,
Tools>Preferences>Music Library
