Thanks Joe! :)
It's not the standard Clojure buildpack, that's the reason it has to be
specified explicitly.
I actually started out having no env parameter in app.json. The result was
a completely dead app.
After I added the variable it worked.

Check out https://github.com/oskarkv/map-regexps I hope you find it useful!

The JavaOne conference, a huge gathering, is taking place in San Francisco

encourage you to submit a proposal related to Clojure. There are many

The list is so cool that I think this discussion is actually part of the
book's marketing strategy. It worked! I just bought my copy ;-)

That's awesome. I'm really glad to see people using the Heroku button for
projects like this.
Is there a reason you explicitly set the BUILDPACK_URL? Heroku should
detect the `project.clj` and use the Clojure buildpack automatically (I was
able to deploy like that when I tested it). If there wa
Hi Leonardo, I haven't read it yet but I am very much looking forward

Fine with me. Let's call it off.
It's not either a forum about netiquette or about 'how bad this word/expression
hurts anonymous people'.

So far I'm finding the book instructive! Good job. As far as the detour,
I'd keep in mind that in general Rich likely isn't in favor of it on this

There is value in comparing approaches, minus the personal attacks. I would
suggest starting a different thread, though.
Bringing this back to the original topic - I'm about 25% through the book, and
it is really good so far. Thank you Leonardo for writing what so far appears

Luc, you are missing the point: this isn't the forum for that

This is a _Clojure_ forum, not a 'what's wrong with the (technology)

the world' forum.

Not being politically correct is fine.
But an attack on anonymous "stupid" people in this context is pointless and

Hi Daniel,
I believe the point of the analogy is that "tests can't do the thinking for
you". In that sense, a strict TDD workflow where you think only about the
