Need owner of Atomic 2 Week releases

2015-11-13 Thread Amanda Carter
Hey folks, creating a separate thread for this longer term discussion. We're
getting ready to release our first 2 week atomic update on Tuesday and Dusty
Mabe has raised 2 potential release blockers that were not part of automated
testing. It's good that he caught them, but it's also a bit of a stroke of
luck. Since there is no official QE for this release, who should own verifying
that there are no release blocking bugs prior to every automated release and
escalating if there are? If no one raises the blocker, we'll have no way to
block the release.

This is something that we need an answer to fairly quickly since we don't even
have confidence that the current release is good other than the current
reports. And we'll be taking this plunge again in just 2 weeks.

Thanks for your attention to this,

I'm pretty sure Matt and Dennis already decided to pull Atomic out of the F24
compose and into a separate 2 week release stream last night. Do you guys need
anything from my side or need me to track anything down?

Fedora Release Tools Demo (Canceled) - Written Status

2016-09-13 Thread Amanda Carter
Hi folks, due to travel and various obstacles, we're not able to host a
recorded demo this month. Instead we've put together a status report that
includes some additional highlights we think you might be interested in. If you
have feedback and/or think this works well, I'd love to know b/c I think this
vehicle covers more information than a demo alone so I might do both in the
future if it's worth it.

Apologies for missing the actual show and tell - if there's anything you'd like
to see specifically, I'm sure we can arrange something.
