Sorry for the delayed response - hate typing on small keyboards. The power supply for a manufacturer is frequently interchangeable. Have a look in your manual, the specs for the power adapter should be there. If not, you can take your notebook to a store and see if you can plug it into one

Hi, I want to buy a netbook (preferable one from the ASUS eee pc line) with Linux on it. I've had one before, so I know that it does exist. However, whenever I go into a shop and ask for it, the salespeople just stare at me and point to windows-version. Does anyone know where I can get one

To be fair when the first windows netbooks came out, I preferred them because they needed more resources and came with them. There is also resale option as not everyone necessarily wants Linux. On the down side, you do need to pay the windows tax. Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers

I don't know how many care but Lyx 2.0 was released tomorrow (May 8th) (It was released from Europe). There are lots of changes since 1.6 was released over two years ago. Lyx is great for writing scientific papers since Lyx generates Latex files but it is also useful for most other writing. I
