Yeah, I would not waste your time looking for a used fan. It might not work
or only work for a month. As mentioned you can get case fans for under $10
dollars. Just make sure you buy ball-bearing fans and not sleeve fans.

Where is the best place to buy computer parts in Calgary?
My computer CPU fan has become so loud that it needs replacing
and since my computer is nearly 8 years old I prefer to not buy
a new one. I live in the North West so a location in my area is better
though not a necessity.
