Sorry, guys, but we've discovered a problem with mkfs.gfs2 that makes it impossible to create gfs2 file systems. The problem has been fixed in the STABLE3 and master branches of the git repos, and 3.0.9 will be released very soon. Regards, Bob Peterson Red Hat File Systems
