Thanks Susan. I have never had diarrhea but have constipation. Tried everything and finally saw Mira lax. Tried it and it worked perfect. Can you believe after trying all those things. Is it normal to be anemic while taking gleevec? Last summer before I was diagnosed I was anemic and after I started taking gleevec my hemoglobin level went back to normal. In May of 2006 I went from taking 400 mgs of gleevec to 800 mgs. In July my hemoglobin levels started falling and since I have been anemic. I was just wondering if this was a side effect or what since I'm on a higher dose? I also suffer with neutropina and average a neulasta shot about once every 5 ~ 6 weeks. Thanks!
