I've connected my midship drains to the aft drains and then to a much larger
thru hull at the stern above the waterline. They are connected with increasing
hose sizes. I described this in a recent blog post. The system works great.
I couldn't remove the old hose in back of the ice box.

I go every year just to get me in the boating frame of mind. Harder this year
with all the snow still on the ground. I find the best bargains are often the
clothing, but you have to get there early. I have coastal jackets for the
family, full jacket and farmer john for myself, drysuit etc.
In nova Scotia currently all boats have same rating. Sis. Stuck in snow. None
are moving
