On the 33 mkII, mast were inhouse cc designed profiles from 1985 to 86. Then Offshore Spar supplied the mast and boom for 1987-88 vintage. The Offshore is a Very upgrade, one of the reason why i was specifically looking for an '87 33. Bruno Lachance Becassine CC 33 mk II 1987 New Richmond, Qc.

I would file/grind/buff down the suspected crack to see what it is. At worst the end is defective and you are sure. I doubt taking 1/64 or less off will make a cracked part any worse. At best after you buff it out there is no crack and the die does not show up you should be good. From your

No idea. Rigger is over an hour away. As it stands now he's asked me to ship him the upper *and* lower so that he can ensure the new fitting fits with the rest of the rig. 3' to 4' coils is what was recommended, which sounds tight to me but he's the expert so I trust him. I'll be off to the boat

There's a good chance the guide has nothing to do with the rig. Look at the harken, schaffer and ronstan websites and see if any of the hardware looks familiar. Schaffer was a popular choice of CC during that time. And just because it was one thing doesn't mean you can't use a different

It's a tell tale weep hole. Any rebuild shop can fix it. You can probably replace the seals yourself or you can replace the pump easily enough. They call it fresh water because its not saltwater or raw water. Big picture, it's not the one with a rubber impeller. Josh Muckley S/V Sea Hawk 1989
