Gary; I removed the Poly Glow on my 25 so I could do some repairs of scratches in the gelcoat. Under normal circumstances, I would have just washed the hull really well and then put a couple of new coats of Poly Glow over the old surface on an annual basis to keep the boat shiny. That annual

Doing repairs to the gelcoat REQUIRES removal of the polyglow. Polyglow can get stained and will dull over time. I don't think you can apply wax so the only way to improve the finish is to re-apply polyglow. If it was dirty then you now have a shiney dirty boat. As someone else eluded, gelcoat
