Hello,
Just wondering if anybody knows this boat (Defiant - 86 C 41)... Good friend
of mine (a current 35-1 owner) is seriously considering a trip to Vancouver
from Galveston to see it and I'm just trying to get some background
information... Any help is greatly appreciated...
Tampa Bay is already at 90 degrees, and it’s just starting to get warm ...

This is a water temp thing. By August you can easily be floating in 85+ degree
water here and I am betting Lake Lanier too. One memorable summer our marina

I just wanted to make the list aware of the
Dennis; the Technautics are about 3 times the prices of the other two
units...are they that much better?

While you're at it, investigate Technautics refrigeration systems. Pricey
but good. Claims lowest amp draw. My buddy has installed several with
great results.

Thanks Paul, Edd.
My original refrigerAtion unit (nova cool?) is still working so I had not
planned to tackle that quite yet. Will research Engels and Adler Barbour. Is
the upgrade worthwhile or is this really something to consider once replacement
is necessary?

I missed that discussion..
