It is difficult to diagnose problems described by email. It is even more
difficult
I wonder if maybe your alternator belt is loose.

The light flashes once per second on both battery banks and is consistently
charging at 14.4 volts. Should I expect it is a sensor wire, and how would I
find and fix that?
Or, would it be the regulator?
