To me "Topsides" is from the water line up to the toerail/gunnel - so it is the sides and stern of the boat. Bottom paint goes on the bottom (which in my case ends about an inch or so above the actual waterline). The deck is the deck.My topside paint job included painting the stern, the cove

I had C 34 hull nbr. 28. I found that in true winds above 12 kts we experienced a lot of leeway. I was told by C that the original design called for 6’6” of draft but the marketing people had it cut back to 5’10”. Rob Ball was kind enough to provide scale drawings for the shoe that we added.
