I had 2 mystery leaks on my 34 + that traveled in the overhead.
One turned out to be an overhead hatch as mentioned by Douglas below.
Pulled the hatch and re-bedded it.
Another was the mainsail traveler mounting.
Pulled the traveler and re-bedded it.

Doug,
When I installed refrigeration on Touche' (1971 35-1), I was curious about
the existing insulation. I removed the galley sink and cut a section of
the adjacent bulkhead away to inspect. The insulation was about 1 1/8 inch
thick. Here's a pic.

where it mates with the boat. I may have mentioned this previously, but my

Thanks, Richard. It's frustrating. I'm waiting for a big rain event and might
have to drill some ting holes to find the source.

Hi Dough,
I posted a bunch of photos when I upgraded the refrigerator in my LF38. I have
never gotten around to provide a detailed write up, but I am real pleased with
the outcome. I split the space into a small freezer and larger refrigerator.
It runs great and consumes about 25 AH a day
I have almost the exact same leak on my 37; I have one of those fireplace units
mounted on that bulkhead and I took the flue pipe out and put in a bucket
because the water runs out of the hole in the head liner down into the
fireplace; I have searched time and time again and cannot locate the

took considerable effort to get this right on the 34 because
Thanks, I assume the mid cabin hatch?

Pete, that's an interesting option; I would like to see how it would affect the

Hello all,
I'm contemplating removing the fridge fiberglass liner to better insulated
it. This year I want to install new water cooled refrigeration.
I'm not sure how the liner is held in place, and how much of the cabinetry
I will have to remove.
I think that there is some foam insulation already
Had a similar leak on my LF39.
I removed and capped off the dorads...so far seems to have worked.

John, o had a similar leak on my LG 39. It turned out to be a hatch on the

Hey Listers,
Our 36-1 has had mystery leak since we owned her, and it only shows up in
heavy rain. On the port side main cabin water is coming down the enclosed

forward of the chainplates. It is a completely in
Hey Pete,
I went the other direction. You shouldn't have an issue, the flange should
cover everything on the inside.
Unless I'm missing something...

Over the years I’ve replaced the side fixed windows on my ’84 37 multiple
times. I’m considering glassing over where the lenses sit and installing
opening ports. Probably two on each side.
I’m reaching out to the group to see who has tackled this project and are there
suggestions on how
