Bruckman would be a good thing, right?
I can’t believe someone hauled that boat to a lake about 12 miles long, but
they did.

Electrically speaking it’s always preferable to charge batteries in series. That way each cell gets the same current. In parallel, the battery with the least impedance gets the most current. Cheers, AlSV ElendilC/40+On May 20, 2024, at 9:36 AM, Bill Coleman via CnC-List wrote:Whoops, sorry,
Perhaps there's a local Sea Scout troop in your area that would take it.

Any chance this 1970 35 was built at the Bruckmann custom shop? Some of the
details appear similar to the 70's era 43s.
The 43s were built with a teak veneer over the plywood bulkhead. Calypso's
(nee Arieto) original owner ordered the bulkheads to have white paint added
over the teak veneer.
Joe,
This must be a very early 35. It's listed as a 1970. I found what may be
it in the USCG vessel search under Vessel Number 527443 but no hull number
is shown.
It is quite different from any 35 I've ever seen. The cabinetry is very
different. There are no frames around the above seat

Looking for a little help on options. My job is being relocated to Europe over
the summer. As a result, I am looking to sell or donate my C 35-2, hull #207.
I reached out to Mass Maritime and one other place and received a “does not fit
our program” reply. Any suggestions are welcome. I
Joe, you could put one board from your existing boat onto the new boat and call
it a "restoration", just like the Constitution...! Or the Tally Ho project!

I could buy that boat cheaper than repainting my boat, getting a Yanmar, and
buying all that teak.

My boat has the same cabin
My boat has the same cabin sole, otherwise no where as much as all that
on the topsides. I certainly don't have teak and holly in the head!

Whoops, sorry, that went flying out of here before I was done reviewing -
should say rather than two 12V in Series.

Wondering if the electrically savvy in the group have a feeling as to
whether it makes more sense to use 24V Batteries in Parallel rather than
two in series. My gut tells me that plain 24V would make more sense, but
this is not my area of expertise.
