Bruce, Our Genoa track has the plastic plugs to access the nuts. 
The traveler was catching on our cockpit cushions and I was able to bend the 
metal under the cleats up slightly to allow it to move freely. If teak deck has 
been added you may consider lifting the traveler track the thickness of the 
teak, maybe a piece of aluminum would work best. You will have to test fit to 
know if that would add friction. If your Genoa track is leaking, I would take 
the time to re-bed everything you haven’t had off yet. Butyl tape lasts a long 
tim but not forever.
