Wedges can be easily made out of oak or a similar hard wood. I leave a lip on top so they don’t fall inside the boat and stay where you put them. Any wood shop can make them. I also use oak shims in a fat T pattern to keep the mast base in the appropriate spot at the bottom and help the mast
