Are you able to reach all of the bolts through the access ports? The nut
actually came off one of my forward bolts. I'm going to try putting a nut
in a socket and hope I get lucky enough to have it catch. I cant get my
hand in there. (I was able to tighten the aft bolts.) Any other
On my 35/3 it is set to 14 degrees. The Kanzai transmission is 2.6 to 1.
The newer models can be adjusted under water. The old ones cannot.

I agree with Josh on contacting Hutch at PYI to get the best info. Your
description of being unable to reach full RPM when in gear does sound like a
reduction in pitch is called for.
I have changed the pitch on Calypso's MAX Prop several times including the
original effort at installation.
I think that will be the plan of attack.
