Hey Listers.
I was very fortunate last week. I noticed a drip coming from the seawater pump
on my Yanmar 3HM. Anyway I removed it as I thought the impeller was going.
Turns out the seals were just about dissolved apart and the bearings were
almost seized. I took it in to a local shop and
Sorry Sean
I thought it was Joe looking for a Genoa
I looked at my sail and it is in fact a furling Genoa.
It is an Ullman Sail.
The bag/cover states Crown 34

If you are on a budget try rolly tasker sails in Thailand. Great service, good
product. am one of a few on the list who have used them.
I agree with others who have stated that the likelihood of finding a good used
furling genoa, local to you, is about nil, and that if you do find one it

I have a furling headsail, I believe it is furling, I will open it and look at
it later. It came with the boat, but it is too small, I believe the bag says
33. I can look up the dimension later and give them to you.
If you are in my area you can just have it. It is in
My furler has a split drum. I have a furling 135 for cruising, and I remove
the drum during the racing season for my racing sails. If I had thought
more about it, I would have made all my sails (racing and cruising) furling
sails. It's nice to have a clear deck after raising the spinnaker. Now
FYI:
My furling genoa is about 95% used up. I have been looking for one for about 3
years now and no luck. NO ONE is getting rid of a nice furling genoa unless the
boat sank. Racing sails – plenty of them. If the sail is the wrong size or it
needs a cover, you are looking at $500 minimum to get
I would steer clear of these sails.
A mylar genoa does not sell for 7000 on a 34. Approx 5000 CAD. Maybe a slight
bit more. … and What is a Mylar genoa??? Mylar is a film that covers the
strands that give the sail strength. Aramid? Kevlar? Other?
I have not seen one of these two tone
