for a sail prior to going under contract. Get him to show
you everything. Feel good about the boat and then get the contract. An active
owner might even split the cost of the haul.

It is common, the bottom needs cleaning on haul out or you are trying to exam a

OK all. It's looking like we're going to be proud owners of a 1985 tartan 40.
Survey went well we have come to terms on price, AND I had absolutely no
problem with financing a 30 year old boat. All there is to do now is finalize
paperwork and the yard down there is taking care of a few
yea, surveyor didn't say anything about blisters but did say it would be a good
idea to soda blast barrier coat and bottom paint. sand feather and re-coat
would certainly be an option, although I don't think the cost would be
drastically different going the full strip, barrier coat, bottom pain
Hi Guys, The boat I'm in the process of buying does not currently have
chartplotter. Instead of rushing into the purchase of a new one for the
delivery home I was thinking to use a windows tablet with an external GPS
antennae/dongle and charts loaded from someplace to be determined. I think
you won't, trust me! People want like 10 gals a minute to feel a luxurious
shower. those water saver heads are like .5 gals per minute and nobody "likes"
those! LOL

it to the lift and back during the survey and then out for a sea trial we never
shut it off and the engine ran beautifully the whole

Hi Guys, Okay so I've got a survey with haulout scheduled for this coming
Saturday. during my conversation with the surveryor, he brought to light an
interesting point. I had asked if he would be doing the sea trial before or
after haul out and he said that it would be better to do it after

p dir=ltrYep that#39;s normal. The price is haul block and wash. Short
hauls usually relaunch the same day no storage fees. ~$200.
