All the original inside hull surfaces I have seen on C's are gelcoat.
Previous Owners may have left their own indelible imprint. Now that velvet art
is so cheap, I'm thinking of lining all our cabinets in fuzzy Elvis and elks

You can get a lead paint test kit for $10 in Home Depot etc. That will answer
the question definitively.
