I think full-length contact strips on the hatch sliders would work well
with a brush on the hatch. + on one side and - on the other. No moving
cables, piece of cake. Don`t lean on the sliders when you`re wet and it`s
all good.
Might want a fast-blow fuse in the circuit just so you don`t lose too ma
