The Denver CBC was held Saturday, December 18th. The preliminary
compilation results counted up 103 species. A few areas were not able to

There was a flock of 100 cedar waxwings at Holly and Orchard mid-morning;
inspection of over 30 of them revealed no Bohemians.

Yesterday at 8:20 (ten minutes earlier then our first report) the pine
warbler came to our little Ft. Collins home. The things different this
time was he was three feet from my face and we actually got some
pictures of tha little fella. Also we comfirmed our sitting with
another skilled birder.
I am pretty sure both birds in this picture are Harris' sparrows, they
were in the drainage ditch downstream from where the first one was
reported. I saw these this afternoon while looking for the pine
warbler which I am 0/3 on!

Aside from the (this) Pine Warbler on the Fort Collins CBC if my
memory serves me well I think heard 3 White-throated Sparrows and two
Harris's Sparrows also on CBC. I'm sure someone will post results
soon.
Thanks
