We saw our FOS Rufous Hummingbird on July 1 at our feeders in north Evergreen.
Just a few days earlier than usual.

There is a breeding plumaged Red-necked Stint, first state record for Kansas at
the Little Salt Marsh at Quivira NWR in central Kansas. The bird was just seen
this morning, so it is currently there (July 2nd, 8am Central Time). This is
the right month to be looking for this species in
Had a Dickcissel this morning singing in field about .5m or so west of Hwy
85/WCR 90 on north.

I think I heard a great-crested flycatcher calling this morning while biking to
work at about 8 along Bear Creek behind Williams Village and Bear Creek Apts in
Boulder. The wheep calls were coming from high in the thick trees and I did
not actually see the bird.
This area is about 200m
Dickcissels and Bobolinks are still at County Rd. 360 near La Veta. Posted

I got up way too early this morning and drove to Lake Cheraw to look for the
Reddish Egret being reported on eBird and cobirds. When I first arrived, I
