I live not far from the Cherry Creek Dam. While walking to my car about
7:15 this morning I saw a pair of what I presume to be Double-crested
Cormorants, however, one of the two was colored white on the front half
(partially leucistic) making it resemble a Magnificent Frigatebird. I am
Steve Stachowiak reports that the MOTTLED DUCK was with several Mallards at
Andrick SWA on the large pond on the east side of MCR 2 at about 6:30 this
morning. This is the same location that it has been seen at previously. It
flew shortly after that.
