I had this unusual sparrow at Manitou Lake in Teller County yesterday

I poked around a bit in Fremont County this morning. I was able to see 16
White-faced Ibis, two Lesser Yellowlegs, some Franklin's Gulls, and Blue-winged
and Cinnamon Teal in a flooded field in Florence. I didn't see any Glossy Ibis
with the this flock, and didn't see any Cattle
There is a pair of burrowing owls less than 50' off the road. Find them on
the west side. Come from the north, over the first big hill, 200 yards ,
right by the fence post with the tire around the base.
There are additional owls sprinkled through this prarie dog colony; I've
seen 8 of them from
COBirders,
The sometimes difficult to find Northern Parula was seen today around noon.
I saw it in the original location, slightly downstream from the east end of
Sinton Pond and south of it towards the stream bed, the warbler foraging
mostly in golden current bushes and sometimes on the

On my way home I quickly looked at Marston Reservoir from the east side only,

Lot's of birds have left [species and numbers]. Many of the Gulls have left but

Jeannie Mitchell photographed a Vireo at the Headquarters at Chico Basin Ranch

I also saw the black-throated gray warbler this morning on the north side

the the wider dirt path and the one to its nortn, in a bush behind a small,
hollow cement cube.
Excellent views.
