Yesterday while driving in a canyon area in Fremont County I spotted 4 large raptors and subsequently identified 2 as adult Golden Eagles and 1 as a juvenile Golden Eagle. I did not find a place to pull over quick enough to id the 4th large raptor. While I watched these birds for more than a half

Aurora Rampart still has the three Black Scoter and a Pacific Loon as well as one or two Greater Scaup (females). Platte Canyon Reservoir had ~55 Hooded Merganser, one male Barrow's Goldeneye (among the Common) and TWO Greater Yellowlegs! Beautiful morning...so much for the forecasted winds.

Hello everyone, Sorry for the late post. Yesterday Glenn Walbek Gene Rutherford and I saw the Grand Junction Costa's Hummingbird. Amazing to see any hummer on 22 November! On the way back to Denver we stopped at Rifle Gap SP and saw the 3 Black Scoters and Long-tailed Duck reported previously.
