Hi all,
While at a friends home northwest of Lyons for Thanksgiving, there was one
Common Redpoll amongst the House Finches. Unfortunately, they are in a
private neighborhood and did not want to entertain birders. The owner did
take one decent picture, which I have asked him to forward to me.
Red Rocks Trading Post feeders - Jefferson Co
While spreading seed this morning at Red Rocks, I ran into Janeal Thompson who
had just seen Cassin's Finch, Fox Sparrow, Song Sparrow and the Golden-crowned
Sparrow. Fox Sparrow was gracious enough to appear while I was there. :))

There is a 'blue' ross' goose in with the cackling geese in the field on
the N. side of the lake along Byron (the one-way road).
I finally got my first raven for the park. The bird first appeared from
22nd Ave being harrassed by a crow. The large size was apparent
immediately. The

There is an adult MEW GULL at Prospect Lake, Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.
The BLACK and SURF SCOTERs that Brandon reported yesterday are also still
present.

The bird in the article is identical to the one I found. I'll then have
to retract full 'blue' ross' goose at this time!

An American Dipper was in Clear Creek at the I-76 bridges in Adams county
today at 10:40 am today. This location is east, downstream, from Lowell
Blvd. The bird was in the same spot yesterday at about 8:40am
