I spent much of Saturday afternoon (Jan 10) looking at gulls at South Platte Reservoir in South Platte Park, and I stopped by Aurora Reservoir late this afternoon (Jan 13). Saturday at South Platte, gull numbers and variety were lower than reported in previous days. Highlights were 5 Lesser

This afternoon, I was able to find the elusive Pine Warbler on the northwest side of building 7. The bird was hanging with a flock of 25+ Bushtits, Brown Creeper, Mountain Chickadee, and a Red-breasted Nuthatch. Cedar Waxwings seemed to be everywhere in the area. Photos of this bird can be
