Near mid-day the gull flock South Platte Reservoir (resting on ice in
Arapahoe) had 1 3rd cycle *Lesser Black-backed*, 1 1st cycle *Glaucous*,
and 3 *Thayer's* (1 adult, 2 first cycle), along with the Ring-billeds and
Herrings. I had a possible candidate 1st cycle Iceland, too, but it soon
I spent much of Saturday afternoon (Jan 10) looking at gulls at South
Platte Reservoir in South Platte Park, and I stopped by Aurora Reservoir
late this afternoon (Jan 13). Saturday at South Platte, gull numbers and
variety were lower than reported in previous days. Highlights were 5

This afternoon, I was able to find the elusive Pine Warbler on the northwest
side of building 7. The bird was hanging with a flock of 25+ Bushtits, Brown
Creeper, Mountain Chickadee, and a Red-breasted Nuthatch. Cedar Waxwings seemed
