According to the gbbc website, If you already participate in the eBird
citizen-science project, please use eBird to submit your sightings during the
GBBC. Your checklists will count toward the GBBC.

Some of the checklists submitted whether via eBird or GBBC will have
species that are unusual for the location or in unusually high numbers.
Such unusual species or high counts are caught by eBird's county filter
system and flagged for review by eBird reviewers. The GBBC
This morning at Cottonwood Marsh (Walden/Sawhill ponds), I was startled to
find a beautiful male cinnamon teal! I was unable to find the Greater
Yellowlegs reported this past weekend.
