Last night about 5:30 PM, I saw a flotilla of about 10 Wilson Phalaropes
swimming around in a closely aggregated group on Lake San Cristobal. They
stayed around till sunset. This morning, after a fairly extensive search, I
could not find them again. Having birded up here for several years, th

August, the day after David Suddjian. I also went up CR56 (Lost Park Rd)
into Pike NF. In the prairies, as David noted, there were a lot of

Tamarack SWA, Red Lion SWA, and Jumbo Reservoir
0700-1300
There were only a few areas of standing water at Red Lion, Jumbo reservoir
water level was high, with only a little shorebird habitat on the edges,
and the west side of Tamarack was blocked from driving
