Birders, After this last front moved thru the hummer circus has slowed down at our house. I do agree with the recent postings about Calliope's as it seems there are more and staying longer this year but I haven't seen an adult male for at least several days. There are still several at our feeders.

The AOU recently updated their checklist and changed the taxonomic order around. Thanks to Mark Peterson the Colorado Checklist on the Colorado County Birding website has been updated to follow the lasted AOU checklist. Families have been shuffled around a lot. Hummingbirds are before Hawks.
