Moderately busy early on, then very slow, then a big burst at the end. The
Wilson's and Orange-crowned Warblers, Kinglets and most of the Sparrows
were in the early group. The Yellow-rumpeds and Woodpeckers at the end.
Interesting mix of 46 new and 1 banded last year:

Hi Everyone,
There's still a Red Phalarope at the NE corner. Birding from the roof or bumper
of the car helps with visibility. The blackbird flock on WCR 3 east of the bend
includes Yellow-headed, Brewer's, Red-winged, Common Grackle, and Brown-headed
Cowbird.

Cobirders,
Road my mountain bike around Cherry Creek Reservoir today. Fun to find
about 20 American Pipets on the rocks on the dam close to the marina. Since
there was some snow in the high country, maybe they are coming down.
Then about 8 Yellow-rump Warblers at the swim beach.

This morning, a Red Phalarope was spinning around in the northeast quadrant
of Union Reservoir. It was by itself and was the only phalarope seen.
Unfortunately, the northeast part of the lake is very difficult to observe
from land.

Hi there. Does anyone know where I can take an injured Flicker (we think
it hit a window)? It is alert and can move its wings, but it is not flying
away. I'm not sure if it can move its legs. We kept it in a box overnight
hoping it would take off in the morning, but no luck.
Thanks,
Nicolle
