I stopped in to look at McClellen Reservoir early this morning, viewing
from the shoulder of County Line Road. There were about 500 gulls in one
flock near the ice edge. The great majority were *Ring-billed*, along with
1 adult *Thayer's Gull*, 4 *California Gulls*, and 16 *Herring Gulls*.

This afternoon (Thursday) my son Todd saw an adult, white morph ROSS'S
GOOSE at Cherry Creek State Park.
The goose was swimming next to the spit by the marina, and it lingered from
five to ten feet from shore providing excellent views.

This afternoon Eileen Cunningham and Kathleen McGinley observed a Gray
Catbird on the Riverfront Trail on the east side of the Colorado River near
the short little street High Country Court. Access to High Country Court
would be off the Riverside Parkway north of Colorado Hwy 340 (also know as

to see the wintering Sandhill Cranes gathering in the evening. We
