Late yesterday afternoon I took advantage of being in Pueblo for my water
planning meetings to look for the Yellow-throated Warbler reported as
recent as this week in Mineral Palace Park. I looked in the northwest part
of the park by 19th and Court where it had been reported as seen but did
not
Some University of Wyoming researchers (wildlife genomics) banded
hummingbirds at my place last night and this morning (6/15). They banded
27 broad-tailed hummers, 3 males, and 24 females, of which 6 were
pregnant. They also banded 2 black-chinned females, both of which were
VERY pregnant.
