After 2 days off because of weather, we were hoping for a busy day, but not

I saw the palm warbler this evening. A beautiful male, wagging his tail and
catching bugs in trees and close to edge of small pond. He was on the north end
of the area, through the gate and around the tiny pond on the left. The pond
is the first one you’ll come to and only about 15-20 feet
Hey, all. Earlier this Friday evening, May 4, I saw a couple of Myrtle x
Audubon's Warblers at the University of Colorado South Campus near Tantra
Road, Boulder County. Which got me to thinking about something...

No big wave of flashy migrants yet, although a camper-birder stated that a Palm
Warbler was seen yesterday
During a delightful morning on birding tallying 33 bird species representing 18
bird families— demonstrating an impressive convergence of evolution flying
around the campground.

Amongst the juniper trees in my backyard, one mile west of Severance, I had a
male Western Tanager on Thursday a.m. I put out some oranges but it didn’t
come to the feeder.Typically I see Bullock Orioles before the Tanagers show
up, but not this Spring.

Cemetery in Boulder just now. Detected by song, well seen, audio recorded.
