It turns out, the Palm Warbler, appears to be the rarer "Yellow"
subspecies of Palm Warbler. Thanks to Chris Wood for looking at my
photos, and letting me know. One other time, there were two "Yellow"
Palm Warblers all winter, along the Arkansas River, below Pueblo
Reservoir dam. So, there

afternoon, I left out excellent area birder David Steingraeber. Sorry.

At my place, at 6,000 ft. 4 miles NW of Lyons, just had sandhill cranes fly
over.Heard them, but did not spot them to count.
Pinyon jay flock is unreliable but almost daily; also have had 7 turkeys
coming by most days.
Been hearing multiple Townsend Solitaires most every day.

Surprised to get out of the vechile at Sailboard Launching Area at Pueblo
Reservoir this afternoon, and hearing a pretty loud warbler chip, from
nearby cottonwood tree. Saw it and it was a Palm Warbler. Margie Joy and
saw it again an hour later, in some sunflowers, feeding near some juncos,
I just spotted a Tundra Swan at Platte Canyon Reservoir off Watertown Rd at 2pm
today.

Great find, Matt. The female Black-and-white Warbler was still present at 9:30
this morning along the south edge of the cemetery in a mixed species flock.
