Hi all,
Since we are a month away from the first Christmas Bird Counts in Colorado
this winter, I thought I'd give you all an update on the dates of the
counts, that I know about so far. If you are the compiler of any counts,
please enter the date on the CBC Website, or I can for you.
Christmas
David Dowell re-found the bird, north of the eBird hotspot on Staghorn
Drive in pines.
His great pics here:

I will not be here to post reports (positive or negative) about this bird
for the next few days.

Please Note the "E"
Still present as of 2:23 pm at spot Laura described so well.

Lindsay and I just had a Palm Warbler in the south side of Hine Lake at Robert
A Easton Park. It was first seen lakeside then moved towards the playground
area to the SE.

I did not see the warbler this morning in the place I observed it before.
It may have moved on, although there are good residential areas worth
checking along the Dry Creek Path area eastward to Willow Creek Park and
Fordham St.
I did see a nice group of seven Evening Grosbeaks.
The golden-crowned sparrow found yesterday at CU South was still around
this morning!
Seen feeding on the road with a group of song sparrows and juncos, past the
tennis court, near the base of the hill next to a small tree on the east
side of the road. This is a quick walk from the parking area,
