In-case anyone is interested in what the Denver Groove-billed Ani is
eating, mid-day today when I was there, we saw the bird on the ground
eating on grasshoppers. I don't know what else people have seen it eat.
Pretty fun bird to see, hope everyone has a chance to see it. Now since I

Wilson's Warblers appear to be on the move - I see Chico banded 26 and we
did 30. In between, we caught 12 other new birds, included our FOS
Green-tailed Towhee and Lincoln's Sparrow and a Black-capped Chickadee

Westerly Creek bridge can be accessed from the corner of Boston Street and 37th
Ave. From that corner you can see the bridge below. When I left an hour ago,

Ani seems to be moving back downstream (west). It was just calling from
under the Westerly Creek Bridge on the south side. It then appeared in the
thickets on the west side of the bridge where it called for a bit, then
disappeared into the foliage. Thanks to all for the continued updates.
Can anyone tell myself and Dale Peterson where the westerly creek bridge is?

3:19 Ani is on south side in thicket 5-8 ft. Upstream from Westerly Creek
