Maybe this was already posted. I'm having trouble with the new CObirds
format.
I couldn't find the Varied Thrush today, but instead saw a Brown Thrasher
by The Cascades area. About five other people were there. I'm not sure who
credit goes to for the find.

This morning just after dawn, I heard at least two Eastern Bluebirds calling
as they flew over as I was walking at Sawhill Ponds just west of 76th Street,
north of Valmont Road.

At 3:20 p.m. Nov. 16, a flock of 26 sandhill cranes circled over north
Boulder (Boulder County) near Broadway and Iris. They were overhead for
about 5 minutes before moving southwest.

OK, so it looks like we can post a new Conversation to the group via mobile
devices by creating a new email to the Cobirds@googlegroups.com address. I
used my mobile Outlook application, but I'm sure all other email
applications would work.

Hola,
I can’t send any sightings in the field on my IPhone 11. I use to be able
to write & send, not now. I agree Adrian.

Hi Diana,
Both. I get emails, but also use the web to actually go to the group. Yes, you
can definitely do a reply to the email since that isn’t part of the Google
Groups application.

Question for you Adrian - are you accessing the Colorado Birds messages by
going into the web group, or are you getting the messages sent to you via

I get the messages sent to me via e-mail and I am not sure I am seeing the
same issues you mention - for example, I definitely had the

Hi all
Been trying to figure out access to Willow Creek on Pawnee for about last
month and a half. Twice was thwarted in discovery--yesterday SUCCESS!
Beautiful place and more than likely a great migrant trap for our
migrations.
Photos here show why special:
Yesterday late afternoon I went out on the Niwot Loop trail south of Monarch
Road into the open space. There was a small flock of about 6-8 eastern
bluebirds in the trees along the creek. I asked them nicely if they would
consider sticking around a month until the Longmont CBC, as that is an
Jonathon Bookman found a Varied Thrush at Homestead Ranch Regional Park
last night. He and I both re-found it this morning. It’s hanging out near
the pavilion and parking area and is giving great views.

Late this afternoon I found a pair of swans resting near the north shore of
Boulder Reservoir. Unfortunately, distance and fading light were an issue
in seeing the finer details. I've posted photos to an eBird report. Any
thoughts on ID would be much appreciated.
