After wrapping up my Elbert BBS yesterday, I drove over to Winkler Ranch on 
the road west of Castlewood Canyon SP (Douglas Co) to look for Bobolinks in 
the alfalfa fields. At 12:30 p.m., 93 degrees, I didn't expect them to be 
active but there they were. Three of them flew west, fluttering up and back 
down into the field, eventually landing on the fence line just past the 
small red barn, further west than I typically see them.
