All, I'm sure many of you have gotten 20 other emails about Giving Tuesday. However, there's no better day to make a pledge per species or a flat donation to the Joe Roller Memorial Grant managed by Colorado Field Ornithologists! We are getting closer to raising $35,000 (!!!) to support small grants for bird research in Colorado! Thank you to everyone who has pledged or donated. The support for the Joe Roller Memorial Green Big Year has been tremendous! We are helping to support research grants for the next generations of ornithologists, and that's pretty special. The small grants like what CFO supports were really instrumental to me as a graduate student needing field supplies and just trying to get to my study sites to do bird surveys!
