Today was our 'soft-opening' for the spring season at Chico, we set up the
nets early and ran them for a few hours in the late morning. Overall it was
fairly quiet, but nice to see a few early spring migrants. Highlights were
an Ash-throated Flycatcher, which may be the only one we get all year,

Last night's CFO Workshop with Christian Nunes had some great info! The
presentation covered how to use eBird for Big Day birding such as for the
upcoming Colorado Birding Challenge. It also included lots of tips and
trips from Christian Nunes' experience as an eBird compiler.
