Today at about 9 am, a surprising species appeared at the Marina., a Black
Tern. Sitting on a white damaged buoy near the dam; viewed with a
spotting scope for over 5 minutes and never flew; black tern with long tail
and gray on the wings; white vent area; bill was black, thin and fairly
short.
