Park. One appears to be a female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and the other an
apparent hybrid Red-naped x Red-breasted Sapsucker. Here is my eBird list:
eBird Checklist - 1 Oct 2022 - Ridgway SP--Marina area - 10 species (+1

Hello COBIRDERS!
Looking for something to do a week from today...Sunday? How about some
leisure birding at a Big Sit?
What is a "Big Sit" you ask?
Well, a Big Sit is similar to the birding event called a "Big Day", in both
events participants try to count as many species as possible, the
Still hot, breezy, relatively few birds. Best ones today around noon were:
White-throated sparrow
Song sparrow
Nashville warbler
Woodhouse’s scrub-jay
Green-tailed towhee
Blue-headed vireo
Most of the action continues to be at the north end of the main trail
Looked for the scissor-tailed
Work and a new puppy have kept my birding to a minimum this year, but I was
happy to get out for a coupe hours today.
One of my favorite parts of birding is exploring under-birded places. I
discovered the Aurora Sports Park this past spring and saw it as a place
that had a lot of potential,
David Wade reports that the TB Kingbird continues at the stakeout this morning.
