I received wonderful photos of both the current Boulder prothonotary and
northern parula with FLIES in their beaks. Flies from a few families
(Calliphoridae, Muscidae, Tachinidae, Sarcophagidae, Syrphidae, others)
regularly or at least occasionally seek out aphid honeydew deposited on plant
