Sam (from Colorado Springs), Cynthia Madsen and David Hill spotted the
Pink-footed Goose on the SE corner of Firestone (Milavec) Reservoir between
11:00 AM and noon. Two Bald Eagles flushed the geese on multiple occasions
requiring rescans of the thousands of individual geese each time. The
, Margaret and Tom who were doing the
park's monthly bird survey! John allowed us to ride in the park van and
pass beyond the locked gate on the reservoir's east side for closer looks.
