(one from inside the fence near runways) and all 3 said a okay- have fun
birding.
My guess is the airport doesn’t have a clear policy on birding out there so
each patrol decides what to say in the moment. Just my two cents.

I should have added- Very small tern. I could lose it in the swallows for a

wing. I spent more time with the adult than the immature, but the immature
had a black eye stripe. I stayed as long as I could with light and am going
to head back out in the am to see if they are still around.

Gwen Moore and I re-found the yellow-throated vireo that Ben J found
yesterday morning at Heron Pond in North Denver. It was very vocal and we
had incredible views. He seemed to be flying all around the south side of
the lake.

white tips. As that seems to be the diagnostic feature, I am taking away my
id (replacing it with Cassins/Western). Just wanted to report in case
someone was going to go chase after it. Although a Yellow throated vireo
was reported there this am, so may be worth the trip!

Curious if anyone has any suggestions about where to pitch a tent in Bent
county. I don’t have current travel restrictions and would love to go check out
the grove and other spots down there but with camping still not allowed I’m
curious where to sleep (and I’d like to avoid motels).

Aren’t these the decoys that were being discussed last week or so?

Hi all, I originally posted a Bonapartes but changed the post to Franklin’s at
Marston yesterday. Gulls are still tough for me. The bill looked very black
which is what made me think Bonaparte’s. But I was guided to consider leg color
and that led me to Franklin’s. Sorry for confusion

I think cackling with ross given it’s small size.
A blue morph ross looks like it would have a hood and much darker body with
extensive white markings on wings I think.
I searched ross/cackling hybrid on ebird and it looks very similar to the bird
at the park.
Still a very rare bird and cool
Was just out this am looking for the Ross’s. Didn’t see it, but did see a
hybrid. I’ll post pictures soon.

There has been a smaller one- about 50 crows- fairly consistently roosting by
my school near holly and Mexico. Seems that they roost within a half mile or so
of that when i see them.
