My best yard bird was a Northern Goshawk. Boy, was that a surprise! I had to
run out in my slippers and no coat in the middle of winter to get a photo.

The book has found a good home - possibly to a future Chris Wood.

If anyone would like my old Colorado Breeding Bird Atlas (copyright 1998), they
are welcome to it. Otherwise, it will be recycled.

If someone missed out on the book, I have one titled Birding Hot Spots of Santa
Fe, Taos & Northern New Mexico by Liddell & Hussey that I'd give away. It's a
little dated as it was published in 2015.

Jen,
I just found out about a cool APP last night for ID'ing raptors. It's called
Raptor ID by HawkWatch International and it's free! Gobs of photos and in all
color morphs.

Can someone tell me where they park when they bird at Dunes Reservoir? And
Google Maps doesn't even show a blue area where I'm guessing the reservoir is -
east of Brighton Rd and the river, and north of E 112th Ave and the Dunes
Master Assoc. Playground? Can you walk all the way around it?
I think this may be the same Anon Birder that posted seeing a Eurasian Wigeon
about a month ago -- that no one else reported. So I would agree.

I'm confused. ACC is north of Hudson Gardens. Not at the south end.
