Can anyone tell me about when house wrens arrive in the Denver area? Had
a pair nest here in Arvada in a bird box last year, and hoping they will
return. Their song was a delight all summer.

I posted this two days ago, but for some reason my postings to cobirds is
always a challenge.
Anyway, here's my list from East White Ranch on Wed. Lark Sparrow? at trail
head, Lazuli Bunting, same location, quarter mile up trail, Yellow Breasted
Chat, Cat Bird, Spotted Towhee, Bullock's Oriole,
Hiked about a half mile up the trail on east side of White Ranch this
morning. Here's my list: Lark Sparrow, Lazuli Bunting (gorgeous!), American
Goldfinch, Lesser Goldfinch, Spotted Towhee, Canyon Wren?, Western Wood
PeeWee, Black Headed Grosbeak, Bullock's Oriole, Robin, Cowbird,
Went out to check on the Gray Horned Owl pair nesting along the Golden bike
trail. One furry little owlet peaking over the edge of the nest. Looked
like just one with mom, but could be more. Dad was on his usual perch
nearby.
